Navajo Kachinas are individually handcrafted and handpainted with a unique eye and artistic style thereby holding a beauty of their own. Unlike Hopi Kachinas, these versions are least expensive and equally fascinating. The Four Horn or Palhik (Palik'ala) is presumably an import from Zuni, although many Navajo claim he is an original Kachina. He is most popular in the mixed dances on First Mesa.
